DANE REYNOLDS GOES FIBERFLEX IN MEXICO

DANE REYNOLDS GOES FIBERFLEX IN MEXICO

The exact board Dane used was a Haydenshapes FiberFlex Psychedelic Germ Model, and while Cox assures he is not up to anything shifty with Reynolds and his current board supplier, Channel Islands, the Sydneysider does hope C.I. might be now interested in making boards with FIberFlex technology. Some of the finest shapers on the planet already are: Lost, Webber, DHD, JS, to name a few.

It’s not uncommon for Pro surfers to have experimental flings with different shapers. It was only a few weeks ago that mesurf reported on World No.3, Taj Burrow, having a board-sampling session in California via Lost shaper Matt Biolos. Taj ordinarily rides for Firewire.

Anyway, It will be interesting to see whether Reynolds likes FiberFlex so much that he convinces Channel Islands to adopt the innovative technology themselves.

The following is video of Reynolds using
FiberFlex in Mexico. It was filmed to promote his signature boardshort, The Cypher Mutiny. The music was composed and performed by Reynolds and his girlfriend, Courtney.
